Once again we are blessed to have the opportunity to welcome Courtney Ward and Paulus van der Merwe to the UK to enchant us with two evenings of pure love and bliss, during which we will be transported into the realms of sacred sound and deep relaxation through their many musical, singing, and chanting talents. Their use of ancient and indigenous instruments, including singing bowls, didgeridoos, bells, gongs African drums, flutes and rain and ocean sounds, (to name but a few) combined with their amazing voices have a profound effect on all who listen. The human body and everything on our planet vibrates at a certain frequency and, as sound is vibration, the harmonics of their instruments and voices work on the harmonics of the energy field of our bodies at both cellular and auric level, removing blockages, pain and distress and restoring balance and harmony to our whole beings. All we have to do is lie comfortably in the atmospheric chapel, whilst they weave their magic around us! PAULUS , from a very musical family, played piano from four years of age until, at 11 years of age, his fingers and hands were big enough to play the oboe, his real love! He is Professor of Oboe at Hamburg University and is Principal Oboe Player for the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra and travels the world, performing. For the past 20 years he has studied Tibetan Buddhism, and still has close links with a monastery in the The Himalayas. COURTNEY is a talented Musician, brilliant didgeridoo player as well as a Dolphin Swim Facilitator, Retreat guide, Doula, Therapist and mother. She has a spontaneous ability to apply these many talents and gifts in a group dynamic in a transformational and creative way. Courtney has worked with many other talented and renowned sound healers all over the world. One of her greatest loves is her ‘other family’ the wild dolphins; they are masters of sound healing and sonic vibration and have been inspirational teachers for her on her journey with sound. She initiates interactions between the Wild Inshore bottlenose dolphins and people, in Southern Mozambique - this done in their own purely natural surroundings.
